The Kieffer Pear or as we like to call it 'Wild Deer Pear' is a hardy tree that grows rapidly. The Kieffer pear is very disease resistant and bears heavy. Kieffer pear trees tolerates wide range of climates, hardiness zone 4-9. Excellent for canning, baking or making preserves. Kieffer pears produce late September through October. Will mature around 20' in height and prefers full sun. Tolerates wide range of soils, but prefers slightly acidic, deep, heavy well drained but moist soil type.
